Greenfuel Energy Solutions was founded in the year 2006 to primarily service the automotive CNG markets in India. Since then, we have grown to capture 37% market share and are the largest provider of such components and we will take it to 45% by 2025. Our company primarily provides high-pressure fueling systems for CNG vehicles to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in India and also filling systems to gas station companies. We also inaugurated our Lithium-ion battery plant in October 2018 and have been servicing the market since last year.

Gas Fuels like LNG, CNG and Hydrogen will remain a very important part of the Greenfuel portfolio as these fuels will be very important in certain segments in the Indian context.
We have made a complete vehicle for H-CNG in 2019 and the vehicle is in process for validation without any field issue. There are a lot of things happening in Hydrogen at proto and we are to participate with all of them.

We will continuously innovate and introduce new technology in Both Gas fuel as well as Li-ion Battery that are reliable, safe and offer the lowest cost of ownership. We are getting 3 patents every year and working toward innovation and technology.
We have actually grown by 20% over last year which is quite extraordinary given the Circumstances. Our Major clients in the automotive segment include Maruti Suzuki, Volvo Eicher, Tata Motors, Swaraj Isuzu, Ashok Leyland etc.
The important surprise has been the “V” shaped recovery in the domestic market and the rebound of sales especially in the LCV segment. We are definitely seeing an increase in the sales of CNG vehicles in Both Passenger vehicle and LCV segments.

The current car penetration in India is approximately 30 cars per 1000 people. The major percentage of these 30 cars are either small hatchbacks or cheap cars. CNG has been in the country for a very long time and has gained its popularity and importance with the private sectors. With no tailpipe emissions, CNG and Electric cars have extremely low running and maintenance costs. Governments have also started various subsidies and incentives to push the inclination to CNG vehicles.
Increasing pollution regulations will gradually phase out other fuel cars and CNG will be the choice for small to medium car buyers. As CNG is the near future, the EVs are not very far off either. Aiding a greener tomorrow, CNG and EVs save more than 50% on running costs per km.
There are approx. 2300 CNG stations now available in the market and 500 added in the last 1.5 years So every day expansion is going on. The Govt will add approx. 5000 CNG stations in the coming 5 years so we will grow with market expansion as there will be an increase in CNG vehicle production in the same proportion. Our goal is to increase our revenue by 3 times by 2025.
Because of increase in costs, we were forced to look at all our product segments and do major Value Engineering of our current products to lower cost structures. This resulted in some newer and modular products being developed that cut costs and assembly time and helped OEMs reduce the price impact to their customers. So, with the cost innovation we cannot forget our brand promise as we earned the same in the last 15 years of journey.
I am happy to inform our readers that we started our journey with 4 people in 2006 and now we have more than 100 family members working together. Also, this Covid-19 did not disturb our growth of people and company and we have increased our team during the pandemic as we have to go with the long-term goal of the company. Most of the team members we have are more than 10 year and they have started with us as a GET.
